AON3D M2+ Controller Swap Checklist
Azteeg X3 → BTT Octopus Pro v1.0.1
Since your DM542T drivers are already wired to the motors, you only need to move the signal wires from the Azteeg to the Octopus Pro.
BEFORE YOU START
- Power OFF everything
- Take photos of current Azteeg wiring for reference
- Label wires if not already labeled
1. MOTOR SIGNAL WIRES (Step/Dir/Enable from DM542T)
Move the signal cables from each DM542T driver to the Octopus Pro motor headers.
Wiring per DM542T → Octopus:

9. POWER ON SEQUENCE
- Power on Raspberry Pi first
- SSH in:
ssh pi@192.168.86.20 - Power on 24V to printer
- Check serial:
ls /dev/serial/by-id/* - Copy the serial ID
- Update printer.cfg with serial ID
- Copy configs to Pi
- Restart Klipper
